5005 aluminum sheet strength is comparable to 3003, weldability, good workability. 5005 aluminum sheet is similar to 3003 alloy, with medium strength and good corrosion resistance. The anodized film is brighter than the oxide film on the 3003 aluminum plate and is consistent with the color tone of the 6063 alloy.

Aluminium 5005 has medium strength and good corrosion resistance. 5005 aluminum sheet is often used as conductor, cookware, instrument panel, shell and architectural decoration parts, interior and exterior materials for building materials, and vehicle interior materials.

Maintenance Features of 5005 Aluminum Sheet:

Aluminium 5005 uses stamping oil, drawing oil, stripping agent, cutting fluid and other processing fluids during stamping, drawing, casting, forging or machining. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out the cleaning-drying-protection treatment of the aluminum product before it is put into storage.
Aluminum alloy products are easily oxidized and mildewed when stored in open or semi-enclosed spaces. The time of product discoloration varies depending on the material. After cleaning and drying the product, under normal circumstances, it usually starts to oxidize after 3 days, which is gradually obvious, so that it can be seen by the naked eye, and even the surface is uneven.
For the products that have been oxidized, it can be compensated by deoxidation cleaning, and the protection treatment is carried out to reduce the loss.
