3003 Aluminum coils introduction:
The 3 series Aluminum coils refer to an aluminum product obtained by press working (cutting or sawing) with an aluminum alloy material to obtain a rectangular material having a rectangular cross section and a uniform thickness. The 3 series Aluminum coils are aluminum-manganese alloy coils containing manganese alloy elements and have anti-rust properties. They are also known as rust-proof aluminum coils, insulated aluminum coils, and corrosion-resistant aluminum coils.
3003 Aluminum coils process:
The 3 series Aluminum coils are AL-Mn alloys, which are widely used as rust-proof aluminum coils. The strength of this alloy is not high (slightly higher than industrial pure aluminum), and it cannot be heat-treated and strengthened. Therefore, it is improved by cold working. Mechanical properties: high plasticity in the annealed state, good plasticity in semi-cold hardening, low plasticity in cold work hardening, good corrosion resistance, good weldability and poor machinability. Uses are mainly used for low load parts that require high plasticity and good weldability, working in liquid or gaseous media, such as mailboxes, gasoline or lube conduits, various liquid containers and other small load parts made with deep drawing.
The strength of the 3 Series Aluminum coils is 10% higher than that of the 1 series alloy (1050 Aluminum plate, 1060 Aluminum plate, etc.), and the formability, the weldability, and the corrosion resistance are much better than those of the 1 series aluminum coil. It is mainly used for processing parts parts that require good formability, high corrosion resistance, or require both these properties and work with higher strength than 1 series alloys, such as kitchen utensils, food and chemical products.
